DC High Volume: Batman brings essential DC comic stories to life in audio form, starting with a four-part adaptation of Batman: Year One. After a decade abroad, Bruce Wayne returns to Gotham City to combat rampant crime and corruption. Donning the cape and cowl for the first time, he becomes Batman alongside allies Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent. As they work to remove criminal heads, a new villainy emerges, leading into adaptations of Batman: The Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory.
