CraftLit is a weekly podcast that combines classic audiobook chapters with literary commentary to make great books more accessible. Host Heather Ordover explains historical references, vocabulary, and cultural context before each chapter. The podcast has been in continuous weekly production since 2006, making it one of the longest-running literature podcasts. Listeners can participate via voicemail, creating a global book club atmosphere. Recent readings include works by Mark Twain and Elizabeth Gaskell.
