Submitted for the Approval of the Midnight Pals
A comedy-horror semi-anthology adapted from Bitter Karella's Hugo-nominated microfiction. Each week a group of storytellers gathers around a campfire, including a world-weary club MC Edgar Allan Poe, nerd dad Stephen King, violent goth Mary Shelley and squid-obsessed wimp HP Lovecraft. The framing device turns the campfire gathering into a running joke as the assembled authors trade tales. Episodes mix short horror-comedy stories with the banter of this odd literary crew.
