The Great Chameleon War is a serialized fiction podcast set in the Nesting Zone, a surreal jungle rim around Mt. Tahoma roamed by transdimensional reptiles. The narrator, an Amanuensis, documents his climb up the volcano while collecting the stories of explorers trapped in an ever-shifting dreamscape. Episodes blend paleo-mythic lizard pyromancy, blood whisper secrets, carnivorous astronauts, and cursed poem hallucinations. Created and written by Justin Hellstrom, the show is intended for mature audiences.
