Prince, The by Niccolò Machiavelli (1469 - 1527)
The Prince is a political treatise by the Florentine writer Niccolò Machiavelli, originally titled De Principatibus (About Principalities). It was written around 1513 but was not published until 1532, five years after Machiavelli's death. The work is not truly representative of what he published during his lifetime, yet it remains by far his best-remembered writing.
