Philosime is a podcast that reviews and discusses anime and manga through the lenses of art, philosophy, politics, and whatever else the host finds relevant. It was originally called "Animanga" but was renamed Philosime, partly because the new title felt better and partly to avoid confusion with another podcast of the same name. The host, lilianthium, also publishes updates, references, and essays on Substack, and streams on Twitch. Listeners can support the show through Ko-fi.
