WUOG 90.5 FM is the University of Georgia's student-run, non-commercial college radio station, broadcasting from Athens, Georgia since 1972. The station airs an eclectic mix of independent and local music, specialty shows, plus student news, sports and talk programming, and deliberately avoids major-label hits by playing only artists without a recent Billboard Hot 100 single.
