WNUR is Northwestern University's student-run, non-commercial radio station, broadcasting on 89.3 FM from Evanston, Illinois and streaming worldwide. Its freeform programming covers jazz, rock, news, public affairs and sports, with a focus on music and ideas underrepresented in mainstream media. It has been on the air since 1950.
