WYPR is a non-commercial public radio station and Maryland's flagship NPR member station, serving the Baltimore metropolitan area from its studios on North Charles Street. It broadcasts local news and talk programming such as Midday and On The Record alongside NPR, American Public Media and PRX shows, with the BBC World Service on its HD2 channel and Classical 24 on HD3. The station is owned by Baltimore Public Media, which also operates WTMD; it is simulcast on WYPF 88.1 FM (Frederick) and WYPO 106.9 FM (Ocean City).
