Legacies S1E6 - Mombie Dearest
This week, a monster hits a little too close to home for the Saltzmans. And on such a special day … Josie and Lizzie’s Sweet 16, which the whole school celebrates with the fervor of a senior prom. We start to see some couples worth shipping (MG and Lizzie, Penelope and Josie), while Rafael gets pawned off on Hope. Grace and Stephanie go hard on Rafael, and debate the true meaning of “Monster of th
Legacies S1E5 - Malivore
It’s a busy week where we finally get some answers, but don’t worry we still have plenty of time for supernatural school baloney. This week, that is an election for an Honor Council, where vote results hurt quite a few feelings. People are whipping votes, backstabbing, and even just starting fights. The newly elected students (and one who just joined without running) make a substantial decision at
Legacies S1E4 - Hope Is Not The Goal

Legacies S1E1 - This is the Part Where You Run

TO S5E13 - When the Saints Go Marching In
It’s finale time! And we do have notes… well one main note that we repeat constantly! With Klaus closer to death than ever, how can the Mikaelsons get out of this one? Hope faces the consequences of the Hollow, but at least she gets to take out some anger on Elijah and gives a chance for Klaus to kind of kill it in fatherhood. An
TO S5E8 - The Kindness of Strangers
Well well well, if it isn’t another chambre de chasse… The Mikaelons are no strangers to a classic chambre de chasse, but this one is particularly tricky, because a) Elijah’s memories are still gone, and b) it was designed by a couple familiar masterminds. Luckliy, they are assisted by the brain power of Marcel and, shockingly enough, Kol! The Hollow’s power is released from the Mikaelsons, and El
TO S5E7 - God's Gonna Trouble the Water
Well last week sucked. And to make it worse, the funeral has all manner of trouble ranging from forgetting to invite people to basically a terrorist attack. TO S5E1 - Where You Left Your Heart
Seven years later and New Orleans is finally at peace! But everyone can feel the winds of change coming in, at least partly thanks to Hope who is now a teenager. She kicks off the season with a truly bad choice, but hey, whatever gets your deadbeat dad’s attention. Elijah is indeed off in France with his memories gone, but that definitely did not work to keep the siblings separate because, duh. Bu
TO S4E13 - The Feast of All Sinners
It’s finale time and time for Vincent to reveal his unpopular plan, and he was right to be worried about how the Mikaelsons took that news. And he does try his hand at the strategy we suggested last time: lying! The Hollow tries to begin her reign with an old friend by her side, but, as it often does, hubris rears its ugly head. As the team gets ready to defeat the Hollow, everyone feels a pressur
TO S4E12 - Voodoo Child
The Hollow has her claws in Hope and she does not want to let go! The Hollow tries her best to act like a normal 7 year old girl, but she simply does not have the capacity for empathy to give a performance than convinces anyone for more than five minutes. And even worse for her, the one and only Vincent Griffith is back this week, book in hand, ready to beat her down - with a little help from her
TO S4E11 - A Spirit Here That Won't Be Broken

Marcel needs the thorns for Sofya, and Davina is used as a tool to get Kol to switch
TO S4E9 - Queen Death
This week we have an old TVD favorite that is new to the Originals: a good old fashioned martyr-off! With Elijah in danger, and the Hollow threatening Vincent, we need a plan STAT. We get the return of a certain piece of jewelry, finally see the cure that came from weeks of extracting Keelin’s venom, and experience
TO S4E8 - Voodoo In My Blood
This week, we finally learn the origin story of The Hollow, which also comes with ANOTHER origin story, for a very relevant curse. In search of answers, Klaus and Hayley head to the Ancestral Plane, where they reunite with Klaus’s #1 opp, Davina, who has a strong vision for the day. Bones are gathered quickly this week thanks to help from a visitor from Mystic Falls - Alaric Saltzman! Bone reveal:

Freya and Elijah both pursue their own independent plans, one better than the other. Freya enlists Josh to take on the H
TO S4E6 - Bag of Cobras
It’s Mardi Gras, the perfect time to final clean up the Mikaelson compound and host a party that has an ulterior motive! Marcel is listed as the co-host despite being in the dungeon - luckily, at least Josh could put 2 and 2 together and figure that out. Marcel’s other ally, Sofya, isn’t quite so effective - she leaves the party with no weapons, no Marcel and no leverage, despite being motivated b
TO S4E5 - I Hear You Knocking
After the drama of last week, we have to really focus on understanding the Hollow and that whole deal. The Hollow has its hooks in Klaus and Marcel, and they definitely don’t feel the need to get too creative with shapeshifting characters. But they do make some good headway Meanwhile, Elijah and Hayley head to the bayou with Hope, and Mary is less than pleased to see Elijah. But her day only gets w

Klaus, Elijah, and Vincent find their way into the woods for a mysterious ritual that looks pretty focused on killing kids. While trying to stop the ritual, Kl
TO S4E3 - Haunter of Ruins

TO S3E20 - Where Nothing Stays Buried
This week, we catch up with Kol after he (reminder) killed Davina last week! Luckily, she is a witch in New Orleans, so she should be easy enough to bring back. Well, she would be … but she’s made enemies of the ancestors and Freya needs ancestor magic to kill Lucien, who cements himself as a major threat by locating Rebekah’s body. Lucien has his Black Swan moment, wishy-washy-ness catches up to

TO S3E15 - An Old Friend Calls
With the sire link broken, Klaus returns to his favorite emotion: paranoia. But he may not be incorrect, when he sees an old enemy has already made their way to New Orleans. Meanwhile Hayley is also taking matters into her own hands quite quickly, with he

Everybody comes out for the ball - Hayley in a slay gown, Freya in a pink wig, Klaus in a drunken performance, and so on. TO S2E20 - City Beneath The Sea
Dahlia takes advantage of Klaus’s daggering to welcome him into her mind to show him her past with Esther and Freya, and offer a pretty enticing deal for him and Hope. Vincent helps the Mikaelsons with multiple spells of varying importance, ev
TO S2E19 - When the Levee Breaks
As everyone struggles to decide how to deal with Dahlia’s looming deadline, Klaus retreats because he knows the only person he can trust is himself. Finally, Marcel brings in Cami to talk t
TO S2E15 - They All Asked for You
With the packs officially unified it is time to put the werewolf army to work! Jackson, Hayley, and Klaus disagree on how and when to use the army, but naturally Klaus’s orders win out. Just like with the werewolf army, Jackson is not putting hi

The day has come - Jackson and Hayley are getting married, in a ceremony completely designed by Klaus. Even baby Hope is invited! Klaus plans more than a wedding - he plans Jackson’s murder at the hands of Elijah, but lays off it in favor of inviting Jackson to move into the compound as a show of peace. TO S2E6 - Wheel Inside the Wheel
This episode starts out with a big gag - the reveal of the name Freya, and the fact that she is indeed a Mikaelson! Speaking of Klaus’s father, he turns up in the bayou with the long-missing Jackson, who was NOT kidna
