Deathtrap (1982) - The Film with Three Brains Review
Superman sets aside his cape to prove his acting powers for this adaptation of a play about plays and murder. Christopher Reeve and Michael Caine play cat and mouse in Deathtrap, while the Brains bust out their best yet.
Blade (1998) - The Film with Three Brains Review
Well before the box office dominance (or even existence) of the MCU, Wesley Snipes was kicking vampire ass as Marvel’s Blade. Two teenage dweebs create a beautiful woman with their computer, a la the Bride of Frankenstein. Jim Jarmusch gained accolades for showing the studio world that a movie can be just as slow, aimless, and infused with deadpan humor as real life—a notion embraced by the likes of Seinfeld, Wes Anderson—and that sometimes foible and folly reveal as much about the human condition as flashy narrative thread. Edward Scissorhands (1990) - The Film with Three Brains Review
Tim Burton siphoned the sentiment of his oddball childhood into the fairytale of Edward Scissorhands: a teenage creation with scissors for hands who struggles to fit into a suburban world that is both amazed and frightened by him.
