Alien Worlds

Alien Worlds is a podcast about the groundbreaking late-1970s syndicated science fiction radio series of the same name. Created by Lee Hansen, the original show ran for 26 half-hour episodes between 1978 and 1980. It used documentary-style dialogue, realistic sound effects, and high production values to bring interstellar adventures to life. The podcast explores how the series set a new standard for audio drama and demonstrated radio's power to create vivid, multi-sensory stories without visuals.
