KNKX is a listener-supported public radio station serving the Seattle and Tacoma region of Western Washington, broadcasting jazz, blues and NPR news on 88.5 FM and online. Owned by Pacific Public Media, it operates studios in Seattle and Tacoma and runs the global jazz service Jazz24. Formerly KPLU, the station became independent and adopted the KNKX name in 2016.
