Owned by Audacy, Inc., the station services the Washington metropolitan area as a co-flagship station for the Washington Football Team (shared with Cumulus Media-owned WMAL-FM and WSBN), by virtue of previously being owned by WFT owner Daniel Snyder\'s Red Zebra Broadcasting. WTEM is also the co-flagship station of the Maryland Terrapins (shared with Audacy-owned WJZ-FM in Baltimore), and is the Washington affiliate of Fox Sports Radio.
