KUT 90.5 FM ("KUT News") is Austin's NPR member station, owned and operated by the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin. It broadcasts a 24-hour news and talk schedule combining local reporting from KUT News with programs from NPR, the BBC and PRI, plus the statewide program Texas Standard. It is a listener-supported public radio service for Austin and Central Texas.
