WBRU is a student-run radio station and multimedia studio in Providence, Rhode Island, owned by the non-profit Brown Broadcasting Service and staffed mainly by Brown University students. Founded in 1936, it broadcast on 95.5 FM until the licence was sold in 2017 and now streams online only, with indie and alternative music on WBRU and urban contemporary on its sister stream WBRU360.
