The Brazilian Hour (A Hora Brasileira) is an international radio program created in 1978 by the Cultural Sector of the Brazilian Consulate General in Los Angeles to promote Brazilian music and culture worldwide. It is broadcast Saturdays and Sundays 9-10 AM on KXLU 88.9 FM in Los Angeles and additionally runs a 24/7 online stream with bossa nova, samba, MPB, choro and instrumental music, plus interviews with Brazilian artists and producers.
