WRUF 98.1 FM / 850 AM is Gainesville's first local radio station, owned by the University of Florida, and the official radio home of Florida Gators athletics. It broadcasts ESPN Radio programming alongside local sports-talk shows such as Sportscene, Sports Lab and The Tailgate, plus live Gator play-by-play across North Central Florida.
