The Wax Altar is a 24/7 internet radio station that plays an eclectic mix of music curated from a lifelong vinyl collection, from 1980s South African mbaqanga and Brazilian soul to Kraftwerk, John Prine and Booker T. & the M.G.'s. Launched in 2021 by Todd Dengel and streamed through Live365, it is also distributed via TuneIn, Roku and its own iOS and Android apps.
