Sheynnis Palacios of Diriamba is the current Miss Nicaragua. She was crowned on August 5, 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Convention Center Managua in Managua, Nicaragua.
On November 18, 2023, Palacios was crowned Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.

Congratulations! Despite the controversy surrounding her national win, R'Bonney went out there tonight and truly did what she needed to do.
