Okasha Kameny

Okasha Kameny is an American imam, Qur’an teacher, and public speaker who founded and leads Al-Hirz Institute in Texas. The podcast features his lectures and teachings on Qur’anic recitation (tajwīd), Hadith, Arabic grammar, and classical Islamic sciences. Kameny memorised the Qur’an by age nine and studied for eleven years in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan. He has served as an imam at mosques in New York, Philadelphia, and New Jersey, and his institute offers online classes, retreats, and radio programs to students worldwide.
