On Saturday, October 11, 1986, the bodies of Jackie McHargue and Emma Ingraffia were located in a burned vehicle on Mullins Station Road in Rockcastle County. Subsequent investigation revealed that both victims had been shot. Several old tires had been used to assist in burning the vehicle. Both victims had been reported missing approximately five days earlier.
