Streets and Scholars is a podcast hosted by Alex A. Alonso, who grew up in the streets of Los Angeles and later became a professor after graduating from the University of Southern California. The show explores current street and prison issues, offers hip-hop commentary, covers the latest criminal justice news, and analyzes how race and place impact everyday experiences.
