Break in the Case is an NYPD podcast that takes listeners behind the scenes of New York City criminal investigations. Each episode revisits notorious cases that once seemed impossible to solve, including cold cases and investigations with unexpected turns. Season 4, "Stories from ESU," features highly trained NYPD officers describing life-or-death emergencies. The show is supported by the New York City Police Foundation and is written and produced by Jill Bauerle and Kenzie De Laine II, with narration by retired Detective Sergeant Wally Zeins.
