APRIS (Augustana Public Radio Information Service) is a free radio reading service operated by WVIK, Quad Cities NPR, at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. About 200 volunteers read local and regional newspapers and other material — including the Quad-City Times, Moline Dispatch, Rock Island Argus, Clinton Herald and Chicago Tribune — for listeners who are visually or physically impaired. The service airs as a sideband (subcarrier) broadcast of WVIK 90.3 FM within roughly 45 miles of the Quad Cities and is also streamed online.
