Crimetown is a podcast that explores the culture of crime in different American cities. Each season focuses on a new location, investigating its unique criminal history and the social issues that shape it. Season 2 takes place in Detroit, Michigan, examining themes like race, poverty, policing, and the war on drugs. The show is produced by Marc Smerling and Zac Stuart-Pontier in partnership with Gimlet Media.
