Who Blew Up The Guidestones?
For decades, the Georgia Guidestones were a kitschy roadside attraction nicknamed 'America's Stonehenge,' commissioned by a secretive funder named R.C. Christian with ten 'commandments' for surviving the apocalypse. Wrapped in rumors, they became magnets for religious panic, conspiracy theories, and political extremism. In 2022, the Guidestones became a flashpoint resulting in a real-world act of domestic terror that remains unsolved. This podcast from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Goat Rodeo takes listeners to Elberton, Georgia, exploring granite quarries, graves, cults, Confederate monuments, and explosives.
