Close to Death
Close to Death explores the lives and work of people who deal with death and dying daily, from death doulas and crime scene cleaners to obituary writers and taxidermists. Each episode features a different death expert sharing their stories and insights, with the help of comedians and reporters. The show aims to reveal what these encounters with death teach us about living, and it balances the morbid subject matter with humor and humanity. Hosted by Utkarsh Ambudkar, it is a USG Audio production in collaboration with Transmitter Media and Powderkeg.
