Fruit
Fruit is a scripted audio drama about a professional football player, referred to as X, who reflects on his journey of self-discovery and sexual exploration both on and off the field. Told as a first-person narrative, the series explores X's relationships with friends, teammates, and family as they impose their own expectations on him in the alpha-male world of professional sports. As he becomes involved in a league-related scandal, X must decide how he wants his story told — for himself and for others like him. The podcast is produced by Hoorae Media, Issa Rae Productions, and Raedio.
