The Woman in the Woods
The Woman in the Woods is a true-crime series from CBS News' "48 Hours." It examines the case of Nick and Mindi Kassotis, a couple whose friends and family believed they were being hunted because of Nick's classified military work. After Mindi died suddenly in the hospital and Nick died soon after, their story appeared settled — until a woman's dismembered remains were discovered in a wooded area. "48 Hours" correspondent Erin Moriarty sorts fact from fiction in a case built on layers of deception.
