The Wild Flower Hotline
A weekly spring wildflower report produced by the Theodore Payne Foundation for Wild Flowers & Native Plants. Each Friday from March through May, it highlights the best places to see blooming native wildflowers across Southern and Central California, from easy urban spots to remote wildlands. Founded in 1983, the hotline is offered free as both an online listing and a recorded audio update. Episodes help listeners plan outings to public lands where the seasonal bloom is at its peak.
