Charleston Radio International is an internet radio station that carries on the heritage of the shortwave broadcaster of the same name (on air 2018-2024 at 5140 kHz). It streams non-stop vintage music and original English-language shows from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, encoded at a deliberately low 24 kbps to recreate the raw sound of old AM radio. The station is run by its creator and producer, Harry Richman.
