WCPE, The Classical Station, is a listener-supported, non-commercial classical music station licensed to Raleigh, North Carolina, heard on 89.7 FM across the Research Triangle and streamed worldwide. Owned by the Educational Information Corporation and on air since 1978, it broadcasts classical music around the clock with live announcers and specialty programs such as Great Sacred Music, Monday Night at the Symphony and Thursday Night Opera House.
